The Regional Hybrid Training Workshop on the Environmentally Sound Management (ESM) of Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) will be hosted in Trinidad and Tobago, by the BCRC Caribbean on March 21, 2025, at the Hilton Trinidad and Conference Centre. This workshop falls under the programme Capacity Building Related to Multilateral Environmental Agreements in African, Caribbean and Pacific Countries (CARICOM ACP MEAs). The purpose of this workshop is to provide an overview of the techniques for the ESM of POPs within the Caribbean context, and to share case studies of best practices for the ESM of POPs within the Caribbean.
